Hi All, I joined ONTBIRDS about six or seven years ago when I lived in Waterloo, and my very first posted sighting was an embarrassing mistake. What I told everyone was a greater white-fronted goose was in fact a farm goose, as a birder clarified for me later on the list.
I am happy to say that I finally got that bird (actually five of them) just today here in Vancouver. It's a lifer for me and it was a thrill to post it with confidence on the BCVANBIRDS list where I now roost. Here's a Youtube video I shot of the geese.
