The Lakeshore CBC was held Monday, December 14 in Essex County. The total species count (tentatively at 76 species) was well above our previous record high of 67 species which was set on December 22, 2001. Eleven species were new for the count and an additional 16 species tied or exceeded previous count totals. American Crow numbers were at record low numbers.
