At 1:05 p.m. with south wind and rain, we found a Purple Sandpiper on the rock
point at Fifty Point. It was feeding and went in and out of the rocks so some
patience may be required.

Directions. Take the QEW from anywhere to the 50 Road exit in Grimsby. Go north
toward the lake and take the N. Service Rd. E. Take your first left then right
and left into the conservation area. Ask at the gate how to get to the rocky
point as you pay your way in.

Cheers,
Ken
