At 1:05 p.m. with south wind and rain, we found a Purple Sandpiper on the rock point at Fifty Point. It was feeding and went in and out of the rocks so some patience may be required.
Directions. Take the QEW from anywhere to the 50 Road exit in Grimsby. Go north toward the lake and take the N. Service Rd. E. Take your first left then right and left into the conservation area. Ask at the gate how to get to the rocky point as you pay your way in.
