Hello Ontbirders,

Today there was a Purple Sandpiper on the South side of Gull Island at
Presqu'ile Provincial Park. Other birds of interest seen from this location
were: 1 Little Gull, 2 Sanderling, 7 Dunlin, 1 Black Scoter and 2 American
Pipits.

Gull Island is accessed from Beach 4 at Presqu'ile Prov Park. Park at Beach 4,
walk out to the beach, turn left (south) and walk to Owen Point. From there,
walk east across the gravel bar to Gull Island.

There was very little water to cross today - a couple of inches deep and 10
feet wide or less.

Good birding.
