Highlights of reports received November 12 through November 19 from the Niagara Frontier Region include BLACK-HEADED GULL and CALIFORNIA GULL.

November 17, a BLACK-HEADED GULL and CALIFORNIA GULL on the lower Niagara River at the power plant overlooks. On the 18th, at Devil's Hole State Park in Niagara Falls, New York, ICELAND GULL, 2 L. BLACK-B. GULLS and GLAUCOUS GULL. A total of 12 gulls species have been reported on the Niagara River this season, including LITTLE GULL, THAYER'S GULL, and SABINE'S GULL, plus BONAPARTE'S GULL, RING-BILLED GULL, HERRING GULL and GREAT BLACK-B. GULL.

November 13 at the Countryside Gravel Ponds, on Route 62 in the Cattaraugus County Town of Dayton, SANDHILL CRANE, SNOW GOOSE, 133 HOODED MERGANSERS, 153 COMMON MERGANSERS, 12 RED-
 BR. MERGANSERS and 2 BALD EAGLES.

Back on November 11, arriving COMMON GOLDENEYES were noted on Lake Erie at Saint Columbans in the Town of Sheridan. On the 13th, 2250 BUFFLEHEADS were counted off the Erie Basin Marina in Buffalo. And in Wyoming County, 5 RUDDY DUCKS on the pond on Fox Road, near the Carlton Hill Multiple Use Area.

November 15 at Golden Hill State Park in the Town of Somerset, GRAY CATBIRD and 2 PURPLE FINCHES.

Also on the 15th, ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK first noted in the Southern Tier in the Cattaraugus County Town of Hinsdale. Another ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK this week on Lockport-Cambria Townline Road, south of Route 104.

Other reports this week - on Lake Erie at Dunkirk Harbor, 10 HORNED GREBES and 150 GREAT BLACK-B. GULLS. 2 RED-NECKED GREBES on Lake Ontario at Olcott. BARRED OWL on Hunn Road in the Genesee County Town of Alexander. And, NORTHERN SHRIKE on Lower Lake Road near Johnson Creek Road in Somerset.
