All, The Western Kingbird was spotted this morning and observed from 9:00 am to 10:00 am by several spotters and was still present when we left. Sorry for the late posting but this is this first chance I had.
Location: Beyond the Northwest corner of the Port Burwell Provincial Park trails (Ravine Creek Trail). It was in the east-west Poplar Tree fencerow which is actually on private farm land just outside the park boundary. This requires some walking. It was catching numerous flying insects and returning frequently to the same perch. Good Birding, Joe Stephenson Directions to Port Burwell: At the southern terminus of Hwy #19 (Plank Road) on Lake Erie south of Tillsonburg and Ingersoll. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
