Over a period of 4 hours as many as 15 observers came to Cranberry because
the weather reports seemed to suggest a "good" raptor flight. However, the
winds
did not materialize AND there were no thermals.
Weather--light NW wind, steady BP, no thermals, 14C.
Among non-raptors were many red-winged blackbirds, golden-crowned sparrow,
many Am.tree sparrows, 3 marsh wrens, bufflehead. Along the lakefront black
and
white-winged scoters were noted.
