APOLOGIES RE. RED-TAILED COUNT THAT I REPORTED YESTERDAY/NOV.6--it should
have been 150, not 190.
ALSO YESTERDAY I NEGLECTED TO MENTION A CACKLING GOOSE.
Today, Nov.7, the light SW wind meant few migrating raptors. Indeed, for 5
hours I recorded only
4 migrants-- 1 Sharp-shinned, 1 Cooper's, an Am.Kestrel and an Unidentified
raptor.
Among non-raptors were 1 SNOW GOOSE, a young Northern Shrike, a Kingfisher,
a LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL and a female PILEATED WOODPECKER.
