Greetings! We decided to try our luck and see the Brant geese. They were right by the water treatment plant. Five in total: four stayed together and a lone male, with a limp, would get chased off when he got too close.
They were more concerned with dogs than with people. When the sun came out they were even more good looking! The water treatment plant is at the end of Lake Driveway in Ajax. Exit the 401 at Westney Road and go south. Turn right at Lake Driveway and follow it to the end. There is some parking there. We took a quick turn to Rotary Park and saw a family of Trumpeter Swans and lots of Ring-billed Gulls.
