A few minutes after sunset this evening, a very late migrating Common
Nighthawk was spotted by my wife Beth, and also seen by Pam Snyder and
myself, directly overhead at about 60 or 70 m. The lone bird was flying
very quickly to the SSW in an uncommonly direct line.

St. Jacobs is a few kilometres north of Waterloo.
