This morning at approximately 11 am Barb Roberson went birding on the Milton
Road . We saw at least a dozen Snow Geese mixed in with a flock of Canada
Geese. The whiteness of their feather glow and they are easy to spot in the
Canada Geese flock. They were on the North side of Milton just west of the
intersection with Perrault Road We then took Perrault road to Trim and soon
saw a flock of 30-32 Sandhill Cranes on the left side of the road.

We then took the ferry at Cumberland to Quebec to the Plaisance Provincial
Park at Plaisance just past Thurso on HW 148. It is well signed and easy to
find. There we saw a flock of Snow Buntings crossing the Pres Qu'il Road on the
smaller of the two Islands. We also saw a number of American Wigeons on the
larger Island at a duck viewing area.

Happy Birding
