Very low thermals and a falling BP dictated few migrating raptors along the Whitby
lakefront. 2 Peregrines showed up, one of which remained in the area.

ONLY 6 MIGRATING RAPTORS WERE COUNTED--SEE TABLE BELOW.

Non-raptors: very many Red-winged Blackbirds were very vocal all morning; We
have not seen Great Egrets for a week--4 arrived today.
At 1014EDT 2 SNOW GEESE, one being a BLUE MORPH SNOW GOOSE,
did several circles to the east before coming in to land in the Cranberry wetland.

From the 401 eastbound, exit at Salem Rd. in Ajax, south to Bayly, then east
through LakeRidge Rd. to the first street beyond---Hall's Rd.--south
toward the lake to the second roadside parking area.
