The male Black-throated Gray Warbler was resighted today (October
12th) by Stu Mackenzie at approximately 13:30. It was associating with
kinglets and a Pine Warbler along Hilltop Dr just north of
intersection with Queen St. (Evans Rd). Jody Allair, Ron Ridout,
Avery Bartels, Paola Rossi and I watched and photographed the bird as
it foraged in the area until around 16:30. The bird was very active
and spent a fair bit of time in a locust tree in a yard on the north
corner of Queen St. (Evans) and Hilltop.
