I've received a couple of enquiries about the provenance of the banded Loggerhead Shrike near Port Burwell / Houghton Centre. Others may be interested as well.

Yesterday, Ross Snider was able to see the full suite of four bands on this bird. He checked with the Eastern Loggerhead Shrike Recovery Team and was told that this bird was from the second clutch of one of the captive pairs at Carden. It was released September 2 at Carden Alvar.
