Birders,

The Western Kingbird was present in the same area today feeding from the powerlines at the location below presented by Yousif Attia yesterday. It was seen at 9:15 am and again presented its mid-air hunting skills to many observers around 12:15 today.

In addition a banded Loggerhead Shrike, at about 10:30 am, was in the same general area feasting on grasshoppers.

There were about 15 Eastern Bluebirds, 4 Eastern Phoebes, one imm. Bald Eagle seen today too.

Directions:

The location is approximately 15 minutes east of Port Burwell (see link
below). Take Glen Erie Line east out of Port Burwell to Elgin County Rd. 55,
turn right (south) and then take your first left (east) down Lower Side
Road, and drive east until you hit 2nd Conc.
