Apparently people have tried to find the bird and failed and the number N580M
(on the E side of the pylon) is a fairly useless tip. As you walk east (a mile
or more from the race track) just S of the Hydro line, you will see a green
sign on the left side of the trail with white squiggles. Approx 100 or 200
meters after that look for a clearing about 100 m in diameter on the north side
of the pylons. You must cross some grass then some low trees before you really
see this clearing.  On the north side of this little clearing is a chair with 4
or 5 steps up to it. It is on the S side of a tree trunk. There is an apple tree
in the middle of this clearing,.  You are now definitely in the right spot.
Best to go in the morning when it is singing, however since it seems to be
unmated, it may not stay in the area long although Evan says it has been there
3 weeks so far. Hugh Currie
