Today, Tyler Hoar and I caught (and released) a nearly fledged Common Raven chick, banded a flightless GBBG chick and tallied nest contents in over 100 nests of Great Egrets on Nottawasaga Island off Collingwood in the south end of Georgian Bay.
Directions: Enter Collingwood from the east on Highway 26. Turn right on Heritage Drive. Drive to the end of the pier. Nottawasaga Island should be visible about 5 km to the NW.
