Birds are scattered throughout the Park.

Those who lingered at the small amount of sand at the tip were rewarded with
a number of shorebirds of interest. Besides the several Dunlin there,

Willetand a Red-necked
Phalarope were found.

In the woods near the Tip, Grey Cheeked-Thrush, Blackpoll Warbler, and
Yellow-bellied
Flycatcher and 7 or 8 warbler species.

Tilden Woods was quite lively. At least two Canada Warblers as well as
two Hooded
Warblers were reported. Bay-breasted, Blackpoll, Cerulean, and many other
species of warbler were noted. Scarlet Tanager, Yellow-billed Cuckoo were
also found.

Over at Hillmans Marsh from this morning a Little Gull, Long-billed
