Greetings: Yesterday a group from Ottawa led by Tony Beck visited our Wetland. The Virginia Rail did not cooperate. However, the Wetland saw its first Scarlet Tanagers. An adult male and a first year male. Tony pointed out the Wetlands first Chimney Swifts of the season.
Tiny will update later this week which days the Wetland will be open this coming weekend. The extra opening will afford a chance to those who have not be able to visit the Wetland to do so. A great place to visit. Hopefully the Rail will be more cooperative.
