At around 3 pm today, the 2 Trumpeter swans were seen on Lake Roman just south
of the village of Hillsburgh. Tag number 981 was seen on what looked like a
nest mound, and was pulling grasses and nesting material onto the mound. Tag
number E51 was swimming nearby.
Lake Roman is located at the south east corner of 6th line and county road 22,
in Erin Township.
