Greetings fellow birds,

This afternoon (Sunday 19th) at Colonel Samuel Park was an adult male SURF
SCOTER near the KING EIDER. They were found down the gravel path trail from
the parking lot, and left at the first gravel pathway, in the bay closest to
this point. No scope required.

Also present and adding to other lists were many TREE SWALLOWS, few BARN
SWALLOWS and a HONRED GREBE among the plethora of RED-NECKED GREBES. (An
expert birder I met two PURPLE MARTINS were seen.)

At the Leslie St. pit were many EASTERN PHOEBES.

Colonel Samuel Smith Park is at the base of Kipling Ave. south of Lakeshore
Blvd.

The Leslie St. Spit, aka, Tommy Thompson Park, is at the base of Leslie St.
south of Lakeshore Blvd. in southeast Toronto.

Happy birding.
