Hello Ontbirders, The Ross's Goose was present this morning along Fallowfield Road about 500 m west of Richmond Road. The bird was right beside the road with a small group of Canada's. Around the corner on Eagleson (just south of Fallowfield), there are 2 Snow Geese in with a large flock of Canada's. Also of general interest were adult Lesser Black-backed and Glaucous Gulls on the corner of Moodie and Barnsdale.
To get to these sites, take Hwy 416 S of Ottawa to the Fallowfield exit. Moodie is the first major intersection to the west. Follow it south to Barnsdale. Further west along Fallowfield is Richmond. The next intersection is Eagleson. Good birding. Jeff Jeff Skevington, Research Scientist Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada K.W.
