Over the last two days, the following ducks have been seen in Cranberry Marsh:
Blue-Winged Teal Green-Winged Teal Mallard Gadwall American Wigeon Northern Shoveller Ring-Necked Duck Greater Scaup Bufflehead + Many Mute Swans, Canada Geese and 1 Trumpeter Swan 3 Ruddy Ducks were seen in Lynde Marsh on Mon. Afternoon In Lake Ontario: 2 Horned Grebe Red-necked Grebe Common and Red-Breasted Merganser And by the Parking Area for the Southern Viewing platfrom there was a Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker, along with many Song Sparrows, Chickadees, Juncos and Red-Winged Blackbirds. Cranberry Marsh can be accessed from Hall's Road. To reach Hall's Road, take Bayly/Victoria Rd. Hall's Road is west of Lynde Shores Conservation Area. On Hall's Road, there are two parking areas, with trails that lead to viewing platforms.
