Hi birders Came across a pair of ruffed grouse cocks having a battle which lasted for more than 8 minutes!The fight occured on MacDonell Island at 4:50 p.m. and the outcome was unkown as it continued into the underbrush.What a spectacle to see. MacDonell Island is in the St. Lawerence Parks between Ingleside and Long Sault south of 401.
