At aprroximately 1:10 p.m. I had a juvenile light morph Pomarine Jaeger in pursuit of a gull right in front of Hutches Restaurant at Van Wagners Beach. The pursuit broke off and the jeager continued toward Confederation Park. There are strong east winds down at the beach at present so it may blow in again. Its not too snowy along this stretch but was a bit snowier as I went back toward Burlington so caution while driving.
Hutches Restaurant is along VanWagners Beach Road in Hamilton. Take QEW Niagara to Woodward Exit, follow the signs to the right to Eastport and then VanWagners Beach Road.
