Ontbird Readers

It's disappointing that this has to be said again but as Ontbirds
coordinator I continue to receive emails expressing concerns over trespassing by birders (some of them with cameras) and a property owner's expectation to privacy. If we continue to ignore the concerns of people living near the birds we hope to see, we run the real risk of losing access.

When in the field you are an ambassador for the entire community. Do NOT
enter private property without the owner's EXPLICIT permission, word of
mouth needs confirmation. If someone asks you to leave, leave.

Always use common courtesy when dealing with anyone you meet in the field. Decent behaviour will generate goodwill with both birders and non-birders alike. That would be a good start.
