On Saturday Jan 10th, at about 11:30 am in some pretty fierce winds, a Snowy
Owl was seen on Cell 1 at the Leslie Street Spit. It was sitting right on the
ice, but out of the wind behind a log, and based on the minimal barring, it was
likely a male. Shortly after a Gt Horned Owl was seen, just to the west of the
Sailing Club Road, just as the road bottoms out after leaving the main road.
3 cottontail rabbits also spotted - on the baselands, sailing club road, and
beside Cell 1.

The Leslie Street spit is in Toronto, at the base of Leslie Street, at Unwin
Avenue.
