A male NORTHERN PARULA was seen around 1pm on Dec.13 near the culvert of
Corbett's Creek, just to the east of the entrance into Thickson Woods, by Dan
Kaczynski, Charlie Adey and Karl Jennewein. South down Thickson Rd. in east
Whitby to the road to the left, north of the lakefront.

A sub-adult male NORTHERN HARRIER flew low over the meadow to the west of
Hall's Rd., going toward the lakefront. A light-morph ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK was
seen from the raptor platform. I saw a NORTHERN GOSHAWK fly in front of my car
at the south end of Hall's Rd. in mid-morning.

Rayfield Pye and I noted 65 CROSSBILLS (probably all White-winged) fly above
the trees at the entry path to CMRW--they split into 2 groups, neither of which
could be found after.

Hall's Rd. runs south off Bayly/Victoria, 1 block east of Lakeridge Rd. in
southwest Whitby.
