Hi all Today at 1:15pm under then cloudy skies, there was a Short-eared Owl , flying near the corner of Cedarview Rd and Strandherd Dr in Barrhaven. Crows were harassing it , I was able to watch it for awhile but had to move for traffic and could not relocate it. It appeared to be hunting over the grassy field and then was gaining altitude to escape the crows or to move to another area.
