Hundreds of Tundra Swans paraded through during the day and thousands of diving ducks swarmed over the mouth of the Detroit River. Two Long-tailed Ducks were the most notable sighting among the waterfowl present today. A steady movement of migrating gulls was noted, mostly Ring-billed and Bonaparte's but included 4 adult Great Black-backed. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/ _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
