Yesterday morning I was outside and heard a flock of Sandhil Cranes. I ran into
the house to get my binoculars. I confirmed that this was indeed a big
flock(60) of Sandhill Cranes. As I watched them fly away to the Southwest, I
heard and then saw 4 other flocks fly by. The total number of birds was just
over 200. It was amazing to watch them fly as they would flap their wings a few
beats and then glide.
Thanks,
John
