Weather:
Mostly overcast conditions prevailed today with a few flurries and a few
sunny breaks, the latter more frequent in the afternoon. Winds were
moderate and brisk from the west-northwest becoming northwest later in the
afternoon.
Raptor Observations:
Not a bad day given the conditions with most of the movement in the
afternoon spurred on I suppose by the brighter conditions.
Non-raptor Observations:
Several thousand crows provided the bulk of the non-raptor migration today.
A group of 9 Sandhill Cranes were also noted along with a couple of
Black-crowned Night Herons. The Blue-gray Gnatcatcher found yesterday was
not relocated today.
