There was limited coverage in the morning with poor visibility until 2 pm. Raptor Observations: Migration was slow with only a trickle of birds in the calmer times of the day, including a juvenile Northern Goshawk. Non-raptor Observations: A flock of 15 Lapland Longspurs passed by the count between 1 and 2 pm. Great Egrets continue to be traveling through with approx. 20 feeding in 1 group in the shallows of the count area. Hundreds of both dabblers and divers were seen coming south over the river into Lake Erie, including a couple hundred Tundra Swans.
