Alas, our haze and "high" temp. is gone, BUT medium SW winds and falling BP did
not suggest a flight of migrating raptors--this held true throughout a morning
that had 15 observers and as many as 20 visitors.
Highlight non-raptors--male EASTERN TOWHEE, 2 RUSTY BLACKBIRDS, many PINE
SISKINS, BROWN CREEPER, imm. WHITE-CROWNED SPARROW (UNSEEN FOR 3 WEEKS). Among
the ducks on the wetland in front of us--n.pintail, n.shoveler, gadwall,
green-winged teal, mallard, black duck, AM.WIGEON, AM.COOT, GOLDENEYE,
BUFFLEHEAD.
