Weather:
Hello all,
On an unseasonably warm early November day, conditions were sunny
throughout the day with just a bit of high cloud cover. A light haze was
also seen during the day. Winds were light southwest early becoming
somewhat variable but generally from the southeast by midday.
Raptor Observations:
Just a light migration was seen today with predictably much of the activity
well to the north of the count area.
Non-raptor Observations:
In addition to the large flocks of migrant blackbirds that have been coming
through over the last week or so, huge migrating groups of Starlings were
seen today. Some of these groups were probably in the 5-8 thousand bird
range. A single Monarch was also a noteworthy sighting today.
