The Fork-tailed Flycatcher remained in the Prince Edward Point area all
afternoon today, Sunday, October 5th and was seen under excellent conditions
and photographed by many observers as it hawked for large insects from
treetops about 300 metres north of the Observatory, just east of the road,
until at least 5pm.

Directions:  From Hwy.401 at Belleville, go south on Hwy.62 to Picton,
follow CR 10 to Cherry Valley, turn left to Milford, continue on CR 10 to
the lighthouse at South Bay and turn right on CR 13 towards Prince Edward
Point and the Long Point Road to the Bird Observatory with its signs and
flag.
