The Varied Thrush first found on Paxton Dr. inside Presquile Prov. Park this morning was refound this evening around 6.30pm and seen until about 6.50. It was again found feeding on the roadside and would flush to nearby trees without going far. It was last seen on the paved trail with boulders at the trailhead, just a few metres off Paxton Dr. It was in the company of several Swainson's Thrush and Hermit Thrush, and Winter Wren was also seen on the path. -Pete Kyne and Micha Jackson Presqu'ile, ON Directions (courtesy Fred Helleiner): Follow the signs from Brighton to the Park, and once in the Park follow the signs to the lighthouse. Then drive/cycle/walk up the one-way Paxton Drive for about a kilometre. When you find a paved trail on the left blocked by three big boulders, you have just passed the site where it was first found and then refound, and this is the trail where it was last seen. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
