Hi Everyone
Spent the weekend birding Presqu'ile P.P.. Overall it was a interesting
weekend. On September 27th had a good movement of land birds during the
afternoon, 17 species of warblers were observed around the lighthouse area
including Wilson's, Chestnut-sided, Bay-breasted, Northern Parula and
Blackburnian Warbler. Other species included 6 Scarlet Tanager and 2
Philadelphia Vireo. Along the beach we observed 3 Cackling Geese in a flock
of Canada Geese. The shorebird numbers were low but did see 1 Baird's (Sept.
27), 2 White-rumped (Sept. 28), and 5 Am. Golden Plover. On Sept. 25th I
observed 1 Surf Scoter, 14 White-winged Scoter and 1 Long-tailed Duck off
Owen Pt. On Sept. 26th there was a Sedge Wren at Owen Pt.

park.
