Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 15:30:00
Total observation time: 8.5 hours

Official Counter: Calvin Brennan

Observers: Bob Ake, Charlene Brennan, Chuck Owens, Jeff Loughman,
                  Jeff Schultz

Visitors:
Hard to tally the total number of folks at the watch today with people
coming and going but 75+ were there at any given time from mid morning
onward.

Weather:
Sunshine prevailed throughout the day today with a fair amount of high
cloud cover. Winds were non-existent for much of the early part of the day,
becoming light and variable then light to moderate southeast by late
morning.

Raptor Observations:
Movement overall was quite stagnant today, quite expected given the
conditions, with little in the way of variety, perhaps a bit disappointing
for those gathered for our annual Hawkfest. Sharpies were the only species
that flew in any sort of numbers moving in a consistent pace throughout the
day.

Non-raptor Observations:
Warblers continued to keep people entertained today highlighted by several
Parulas that were in attendence along with the usual Cape Mays, Blackpolls
and such. A Sora was seen early in the day from the Cherry Island trail
bridge in the usual spot that has produced sightings in the past.
