Greetings all,
The Red-necked Phalarope was still at Owen Point this morning,
feeding along the edge of the algae and water. Also present was a
Whimbrel, a juv. Western Sandpiper, half a dozen Baird's (juv) and
White-rumps (adults) and lots of the usual suspects up close allowing
for great viewing. At least two imm. Merlins were giving them some
grief.
Cheers,
Doug McRae
Directions: Presqu'ile is located on the north shore of Lake
