Just got a call (3:20 p.m.) from Shane Blodgett of Brooklyn, NY who is up in Niagara. He and family were on the Maid-of-the-Mist boat about half an hour ago and he had a bird fly-by heading upstream towards the Horseshoe Falls which he was pretty certain was an ADULT SABINE'S GULL. For those in the US, Terrapin Point from Goat Island is probably the best place to look from, while the walkway leading up to the Horseshoe Falls (ie. the gorge) would be the place to go. Good luck.
