Today at 2 pm, a few birders saw the American White Pelican at Hamilton Harbour. The bird was on land, surrounded by, and at times virtually concealed by, double-crested cormorants at the easterly end of the small middle island to the north of the Canada Centre for Inland Waters, in the north-east corner of Burlington Bay ..... the viewing was from the south end of Allview Ave(Rd?), a dead -end street running south from North Shore Road (west of the QEW) in Burlington .

cheers

John & Victoria Carley
