Last night Erwin Meisner called me about a male Franklin's Gull in the Echo Bay area. We went out there this morning and saw it in a corn field across the road from 763 Lakeview Road. It was still there at 0900. >From Sault Ste. Marie, ON. Drive east on Hwy 17 past Echo Bay to Calabogie Road. Turn right (west on Calabogie and drive 1km to Lakeview Road. Turn left (south) and drive 1 km to 763. The bird is in a newly planted corn field on the left (east) side of the road.
