Hi all,

Just thought I would mention that I heard a Northern Saw-whet Owl call about a half-dozen times in a row while conducting a nocturnal amphibian call survey (i.e. frog survey) on the southwest edge of Orangeville tonight (June 12th). I heard it on the Caledon-East Garafraxa Townline approximately 175 m east of B Line. It called from the north side of the road, likely a little less than 100 m in. UTM coordinates of where I was standing are 570993, 4860078 (NAD83). Caledon-East Garafraxa Townline is quite a busy road.
