Late this afternoon (5:55 pm), I spotted two Cattle Egrets in a field shadowing some cattle in a field near Holiday Beach Conervation Area. They appeared to be catching insects stirred up by the cattle which were only two meters away.
Directions: 100 m west of Ure's Kitchen on County Road 20. The birds were in the pasture on the south side of the road.
