Friends of Point Pelee provides daily updates during the Festival of Birds
May 9 through May 13, 2008

Hillman Shorebird area had the Mottled Duck and 4 American Avocet
yesterday evening.

This morning to this point has been overcast  with some periods of rain.
Some sightings and their location are:

Off theTip were 4 White-winged Scoters and a Horned Grebe.   White-eyed,
Blue-headed and Warbling Vireos were in the Tip area as well.  Warblers
seen included  Black-throated Blue,  Black-throated Green,  Palm,  Black-
and-white and Yellow.

West Beach:   Clay-colored Sparrow and a Golden-winged Warbler.

Woodland Trail:  Red-headed Woodpecker, Yellow-throated Vireo, and several
Northern Waterthrush.

Tilden Woods:  one Louisiana , several Northern Waterthrush and a
Red-headed Woodpecker.
