Good evening The White-eyed Vireo was still at Shoreacres / Paletta Park at 6 pm. Ian Cannell and I saw it in the cedars along the main trail to the lake.
While at Old Cut at Long Point earlier in the day we found a Swainson's Thrush beside the Old Cut Woods entrance and overhead were Chimney Swifts. We were also told by banding volunteers that the Yellow-headed Blackbird was still being seen off and on through-out the day in the parking area across from the entrance and at the feeder beside their building. We also saw the Little Blue heron at the Bird Studies Canada pond in the early morning and behind the main building we saw and heard 2 Bobolinks. We of course also saw many other birds there and if interested see my post see the Toronto and Southern Ontario Biding on the Outdoor Ontario website tomorrow afternoon.
