Just a quick update on the Little Blue Heron. The bird was seen flying away,
presumably to roost, last night around 8pm. The bird came back around mid day
today at the Bird Studies Canada's headquarter, and is probably still there now.

If you come to see it, please use BSC's parking lot rather than the cemetery
road. You can walk around the building and use the observation deck. A few
shorebirds have also started to use the pond, including Lesser and Greater
Yellowlegs, and Solitary Sandpiper.

Directions: BSC's office is located at the western end of Port Rowan along
Front Street. The pond is visible from the observation deck on the south-west
corner. To reach Port Rowan, you can take highway 59 south and turn east of
Front Street. BSC's office is a few hundred meters from highway 59, on the
south side of Front Street.
