Before the Essex County Field Naturalists Detroit River Waterfowl Trip
I went walkabout to Tallgrass Prairie Heritage Park in Windsor
looking for Great Horned Owls Nesting.
I saw no Owls but did see a female Eastern Bluebird
in the open area in the North East corner.

Tallgrass Prairie Heritage Park is in west Windsor near the
Ojibway Nature Centre north of Titcombe Road.

The Bird feeder at Ojibway Nature Centre always has interesting Birds
Had real close up views of a Red Bellied Woodpecker.

See Ojibway Nature Centre Website
(http://www.ojibway.ca/index.htm)
for the best directions

The Wood Duck and a Northern Pintail are being seen in the
Lakeview Marina / Little River area in East Windsor
