I went to go see the geese yesterday at the Port of Newcastle and only found a
large group of Canadas and Mallards. So i took a drive along Lakeshore Rd. to
Port Hope and found a Northern Shrike along the way, along with about 6 Horned
Larks and a flock of about 300 Snow Buntings sitting in a field just outside of
Port Hope. A quick drive down to the waterfront at Port Hope proved to show no
geese. I do not know if they have moved on, but hopefully they will turn up
